Get Ready for a Magical Holiday Season in Cayce!

Hey there, Cayce friends! It’s that time of year again when the air gets a little cooler and the holiday spirit shines brighter than ever. Yes, you guessed it! The 2024 Christmas in Cayce festivities are just around the corner, and trust me, you won’t want to miss out!

Mark Your Calendars!

The festivities kick off on Thursday, December 5 with the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6 PM. Can you picture it? The heartwarming sounds of the Busbee Creative Arts Academy band, choir, and dancers will fill the air as we gather to see our stunning 22-foot Christmas tree aglow.

And here’s a little something that really warms the heart: the Woman’s Club of Cayce will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items before and after the tree lighting, all for Cayce Cares. Your generous donations will support local initiatives like God’s Helping Hands and the Scooter Scott Project, providing for families in need this holiday season. It’s a great way to give back while enjoying the festive atmosphere!

Thursday Night Excitement

Not able to join us in person? No worries! You can catch all the holiday cheer as it airs live at 6 PM. Set your reminders because you’ll want to experience all that festive fun!

Fun in the Festive Glow

On December 6, we invite you to take a stroll at the Cayce Riverwalk for Carols Along the Riverwalk from 6 PM to 8 PM. Grab some hot chocolate, enjoy the delicious holiday tunes echoing along the river as local church choirs and musicians spread cheer from various spots throughout the first half-mile of the Riverwalk.

Starting at the N Avenue Entrance, it’ll be the perfect chance to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit. Need a place to park? No sweat! Park at Brookland-Cayce High School and hop on a free trolley ride right to the Riverwalk entrance. How convenient is that?

Bring the Family for Christmas Traditions!

Then on December 7, gear up for Christmas Traditions: Olde & New, running from 6 PM to 9 PM at the Cayce Historical Museum. This family-friendly event will be packed with the sights, sounds, and flavors of Christmas! Each room of the Museum will be beautifully decorated with trees and crafts ranging from the 18th century to modern-day.

Enjoy live entertainment, check out the holiday market, and don’t forget to snap a few photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus! You’ll also find docents dressed in charming period attire, making this experience even more special. Plus, light refreshments will be served to fuel your holiday joy.

Join the Festivities!

Cayce’s Christmas celebrations are a perfect opportunity to gather with friends, family, and neighbors, embracing the spirit of love and community that makes our city shine so brightly during this season.

So, whether you’re gearing up to sing your heart out during carols, making plans for a festive family night, or giving back to those in need, mark your calendars for a truly magical Christmas in Cayce!

Let’s come together to celebrate as we make wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. We can’t wait to see each and every one of you there!
