Lexington, SC is gearing up for a festive weekend filled with fun, laughter, and holiday spirit as the 2024 Snowball Festival rolls into town from December 5 to December 8! This delightful festival promises to spark joy for all ages and will be held at the iconic Icehouse Amphitheater located at 107 West Main Street. So grab your family and friends and get ready to celebrate the season in style!

The Exciting Line-Up of Events

The festivities kick off on Thursday, December 5, with a Christmas Craft Fair running from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.. Vendors will showcase their crafts, which makes for the perfect opportunity to pick up some unique holiday gifts while supporting local artisans.

Then on Friday, December 6, the fun continues! The Christmas Craft Fair is back from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., alongside a special treat for the kids: Pictures with Santa! At 6:30 p.m., everyone is invited to gather around for the magical Tree Lighting Ceremony, which will be followed by a classic holiday movie, The Muppet Christmas Carol at 7:30 p.m.. Bring your popcorn, folks!

If Saturday is more your style, you’re in luck! The Carnival and Pictures with Santa are back on Saturday, December 7, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.. Grab the kiddos and immerse yourselves in the festive activities. As dusk settles, enjoy a family-friendly showing of The Polar Express at 5:30 p.m.. It’s a perfect way to dive into the holiday vibe!

To wrap up this jolly weekend, make sure you don’t miss the grand finale — the Christmas Parade down Main Street at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 8. It’s bound to be a parade filled with colorful floats, local marching bands, and all your favorite festive characters. And the best part? It’s happening rain or shine!
