McCrory Construction CEO Allen Amsler elected 2024 Board Chair for ABC Carolinas

Allen Amsler, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Columbia-based McCrory Construction, with a regional office in Greenville, has been elected as the 2024 Board Chair of Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas (ABC Carolinas).

Having dedicated his entire professional career to the construction sector, Amsler is deeply committed to uplifting the construction industry in the region and beyond. With ABC Carolinas representing over 450 member firms in the two-state Carolinas region, Amsler and the board members are strategically focused on paving the way for the next 25 years through various workforce development initiatives.

Amsler emphasized the importance of developing future leaders within the construction industry, citing it as vital for long-term success. He highlighted the need to champion safety, workforce development, and the shaping of policy to further promote the merit shop philosophy regionally and nationally.

Amsler expressed excitement about the growth potential for the construction industry in the Carolinas and outlined the vision for “Building the Next Generation.” The upcoming Construction Convention in downtown Greenville, South Carolina, in August will also reflect this theme.
