Lexington Police Department Looking for Shoplifting Bookworm

Lexington, SC 05/01/2024

The Lexington Police Department needs the public’s help to identify a woman who allegedly shoplifted some books from Books-A-Million on North Lake Drive in Lexington. In total, police believe she stole over $400 worth of merchandise without ever bothering to go through a register and pay. This incident occurred on February 26, 2024.

Please scrutinize the woman’s photo closely from the store’s surveillance system.
