Lexington Alodia’s Closes Doors, Owes State Money

Alodia’s in Lexington closed its doors as of Thursday, April 25, after owing the state’s revenue department more than $13,000 in taxes.

Restaurant Closure Statement:

Adam Huneau posted a letter to Alodia’s Facebook page as well as the restaurant’s website, explaining the closure. He stated, “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Alodia’s Lexington effective immediately. … Since the shutdown, many things have changed, not only in the rising cost of commodities but also in other areas of operations. These changes have made it increasingly difficult for us to continue operating as we have. Despite our deep desire to serve this wonderful community, we find it is no longer feasible to do so.”
