South Carolina State Fair

The South Carolina State Fair, running through the week, is definitely a must-visit. Each day, the fair opens its gates at noon and ushers in a world of fried food, thrilling rides, and fantastic entertainment! The theme this year is all about celebrating the 46 counties of South Carolina, which is a great way to appreciate the local gems! Enjoy the CIRCUS performances or plan your visit around one of the free concerts at 7 p.m. that’ll have you dancing like no one’s watching!

As we transition into October, Halloween fun isn’t just a mere thought – it’s right around the corner! Check out Boo At The Zoo happening from 6-9 p.m. at the Riverbanks Zoo & Garden. It’s a perfect way for families to celebrate with trick-or-treating at the zoo amidst the playful wild side!

Also, don’t miss the spectacularly spooky HalloScream Laser Lights show at the South Carolina State Museum at 1:30 p.m. throughout the week!
