Man Charged with Accessory after the Fact in Johnston Slaying
Agents with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division have charged Anthony Lee Fletcher, 58, with accessory after the fact to murder in a deadly early March shooting in Johnston. Fletcher was booked into the Edgefield County Detention Center following the charges made on Wednesday.
In connection to the shooting, Quenell Marquis Anderson, 37, was previously charged with murder on March 29. He was taken into custody in Upper Marlboro, Maryland with the assistance of the Maryland State Police and Prince George’s County Police Department.
Roscoe Pough Jr, 37, was already charged with accessory after the fact to murder on March 4, according to officials. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division was requested by the Johnston Police Department on March 2 after 35-year-old Ricky Martin Jr. was shot multiple times at an apartment complex on May Street in Johnston.
Anderson is accused of shooting Martin multiple times with a firearm, as stated in the warrant. Video footage shows Anderson leaving the scene in Pough’s 2022 Chevrolet Avalanche after shooting the victim.
Both Pough and Anderson were subsequently booked into the Edgefield County Detention Center, with Anderson being transferred to the Newberry County Detention Center for housing purposes. The 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office will prosecute the case.
