Allegations and Arrest

According to an arrest warrant issued by the Cayce Police Department, Carolyn Ann Glen, a 60-year-old bookkeeper at Cayce Elementary, was accused of forcefully grabbing the student, shoving him into a wall, and causing him to fall onto the floor. The warrant details how Glen allegedly grabbed the child by the shirt collar, lifted him, and forcefully shoved him against the wall once again. The student, who was in a state of distress, remained curled on the floor crying.

When students witnessed the altercation, they immediately sought help from a school resource officer who promptly responded to the scene in the third-grade hallway, where the incident occurred.
