Chick-fil-A on Killian Road Set for Temporary Closure as Renovations Begin October 17

Chick-fil-A in Northeast Columbia Announces Temporary Closure for Remodeling

Hey there, chicken sandwich lovers! If you’re a fan of the tasty delights served at Chick-fil-A, listen up! There’s some news coming from the popular eatery located at 405 Killian Road in northeast Columbia that you might want to mark on your calendars.

Remodeling Plans Have Been Set in Motion

Starting at 3 p.m. on October 17, this Chick-fil-A will be temporarily closing its doors for some much-needed renovations. That’s right! The location will take on a fresh new look and feel, and even though we’ll have to wait a little while to get back to our favorite chicken sandwiches, the excitement for what’s to come is definitely in the air! The restaurant is expected to reopen during the week of November 11, giving everyone just enough time to crave those crispy nuggets and waffle fries.

A Vibrant Neighborhood Location

For those not familiar, the Killian Road Chick-fil-A is nestled in a buzzing part of the Killian’s Crossing area, surrounded by a host of popular businesses like Kroger, Chipotle, and Starbucks. This spot sees a lot of action, too! According to state Department of Transportation data, around 38,000 cars per day zoom up and down that section of Killian Road. Can you imagine the hustle and bustle? It’s plenty of reasons for them to keep enhancing the dining experience for their guests!

Construction Not New for Chick-fil-A Locations in the Midlands

Chick-fil-A fans have become quite accustomed to seeing their favorite chicken spot upgrade its surroundings. In fact, this is not the first time that a local Chick-fil-A has undergone remodeling. Just within the past year, there have been multiple renovations across the Midlands area!

For instance, the Chick-fil-A at 2299 Augusta Road in West Columbia recently underwent a significant remodel and reopened in May 2023 after being closed for three months. Meanwhile, over at 294 Harbison Blvd., a restaurant was completely rebuilt, and it opened its shiny new doors in March 2023. Now, who doesn’t love that brand-new smell when you walk into a place?

Back in late June of this year, the Chick-fil-A on Dutch Fork Road celebrated its reopening after an extensive remodeling process. Additionally, several others such as the restaurant at 10136 Two Notch Road were demolished and entirely rebuilt, maintaining that finger-licking flavor that everyone’s come to love.

What’s Next for Chick-fil-A? Stay Tuned!

The continuous renovations seem to be part of a larger effort by Chick-fil-A to keep all their locations feeling fresh and inviting. This trend shows how much the company values providing its customers with the best dining experience possible. As they upgrade interiors, it’s not just the look that changes but also the efficiency of service, meaning quicker access to those delicious meals we all adore.

Just remember, although we’ll be missing our favorite chicken sandwiches for a few weeks, it’ll all be worth it when we return to a beautifully remodeled spot ready to serve us with a smile. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for more updates as the Killian Road Chick-fil-A prepares to unveil its brand-new look!

So, mark those calendars and prepare for an exciting reopening in November. Here’s to a fresh start for our golden-brown chicken delights in northeast Columbia!
