Columbia locals, fear not about your chicken sandwich cravings! The popular Chick-fil-A on 405 Killian Road is back in action! That’s right, after an extended closure since mid-October for some exciting remodeling, your favorite fast-food chicken haven has finally reopened its doors. So, gear up and get ready to sink your teeth into those delicious sandwiches once again!

What’s New at the Killian Road Chick-fil-A?

There’s no denying that this Chick-fil-A is looking better than ever. The changes made during the renovation enhance both aesthetics and convenience for hungry customers. For starters, they’ve added a brand-new drive-thru door, making it easier and quicker than ever to grab your meal on the go. Plus, new tile has been installed throughout the restaurant, giving it a fresh and modern feel.

But that’s not all! The dining room has also received an upgrade, creating a more inviting and comfortable space for those who prefer to eat in. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy your food while catching up with friends or just indulging in some ‘me’ time.

A Bustling Location

The Chick-fil-A at Killian Road is situated in the vibrant Killian’s Crossing area, which is known for being a hub of businesses. Nearby, you’ll find popular spots like Kroger, Chipotle, and Starbucks. Located just east of Interstate 77, this Chick-fil-A is in a bustling region that sees nearly 38,000 cars a day whizzing down Killian Road. That’s a lot of people potentially stopping by for a delicious chicken sandwich!

A Trend of Renovations

The remodel at the Killian Road location isn’t just a standalone project; it’s part of a much larger wave of renovations happening around the Midlands. Over the last two years, several Chick-fil-A locations have undergone exciting transformations. Just take a look at the Chick-fil-A at 2299 Augusta Road in West Columbia, which reopened in May 2023 after a three-month closure for remodeling. Then there’s the Chick-fil-A at 294 Harbison Blvd, which was demolished in 2022 and rebuilt to welcome guests back in March 2023.

Not to be outdone, the Chick-fil-A on Dutch Fork Road also closed for remodeling and reopened in late June 2023. Want more? The location at 10136 Two Notch Road was torn down this year and has now been replaced by a brand-new restaurant on the same site. And who could forget about the Chick-fil-A at 2600 Decker Blvd? After relocating in 2022 to 7515 Two Notch Road, it continues to offer tasty options near Interstate 20. In case you missed it, a new Chick-fil-A opened in March 2022 at 5465 Platt Springs Road near Red Bank, adding to the roster of options for chicken lovers.

Excitement in the Air!

With all these exciting openings and remodels, it’s an excellent time to be a fan of Chick-fil-A in Columbia! Whether you’re a long-time patron or new to the delights of their chicken sandwiches and waffle fries, there’s so much to look forward to.
