Chick-fil-A in Northeast Columbia Announces Renovation Closure Starting October 17

Exciting Changes Ahead for Chick-fil-A in Northeast Columbia!

Hey there, Chick-fil-A fans! If you’re living or working in northeast Columbia, you might want to mark your calendars for a little *break in your usual chicken sandwich run*. The beloved Chick-fil-A located at 405 Killian Road is gearing up for some exciting renovations and will be temporarily closing its doors on October 17 at 3 p.m. But don’t worry, this isn’t the end of your tasty treats; it’s just a short pause for the restaurant to get a fresh look and feel!

What to Expect During the Remodel

The remodel is set to last for a few weeks, with plans for the restaurant to reopen in the week of November 11. While details about what specifically will be changing inside haven’t been shared, many customers are buzzing with anticipation about the potential upgrades. What’s more exciting than the thought of enjoying those famous chicken sandwiches in a shiny, revamped location?

The Chick-fil-A at Killian Road sits right in the heart of Killian’s Crossing, an area that’s bustling with activity and home to other popular spots like Kroger, Chipotle, and Starbucks. It’s a hotspot, making it a favorite for many locals who commute along Killian Road. Did you know that around 38,000 cars pass through that section of road each day? Talk about high traffic!

A Trend of Transformation

This isn’t the first time Chick-fil-A has undergone renovations in the Midlands. In fact, many locations have embraced upgrades in recent years. For example, the Chick-fil-A at 2299 Augusta Road in West Columbia just reopened in May 2023 after a three-month remodel. Similarly, the restaurant at 294 Harbison Blvd. was completely rebuilt and reopened its doors in March 2023.

But it doesn’t end there! Just last summer, the Chick-fil-A on Dutch Fork Road got a fresh look and reopened in late June 2023. Even the location at 10136 Two Notch Road received a complete makeover after being demolished, and the new version is now serving happy customers.

In 2022, the Chick-fil-A at 2600 Decker Blvd. also moved to a new spot at 7515 Two Notch Road, right near Interstate 20. The renovation trend is certainly evident with a fresh Chick-fil-A popping up at 5465 Platt Springs Road in March 2022, too!

What Does This Mean for Customers?

For the fans of Chick-fil-A, this remodeling means a little patience in exchange for an enhanced dining experience. Whether it’s more seating, a refreshed interior or maybe even some upgraded technology for faster service, it’s sure to be worth the wait! Many loyal customers are anxiously hoping to see what new features will be in store when they return.

So, while the Killian Road Chick-fil-A gears up for its makeover, you might want to stock up on those chicken sandwiches at another location or try preparing them at home. Mark your calendars, keep your eyes peeled for signs about the reopening, and get ready to welcome a fantastic new vibe at your favorite chicken spot.

Until then, happy eating, and don’t forget: the best chicken sandwiches are worth the wait!
