Become a Hero for Kids!
Starting on April 29, 2025, individuals looking to advocate for children in Family Court can participate in FREE ONLINE TRAINING to become a volunteer Guardian ad Litem (GAL). This course is crucial to ensuring that children’s best interests are put first in legal proceedings. It’s a wonderful way for community members, aged 21 and older with a clean criminal background, to dedicate just four to five hours a month to help those in need.
As we recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month, it serves as a gentle reminder of our duty to protect our youngest and most vulnerable citizens from harm. The deadline for registration is April 15, 2025, so if you’re interested, don’t wait! Get in touch with Richard Fowler at (803) 645-9956 for all the details about this valuable program.
