Friends and family gathered to witness this momentous occasion, making it a truly unforgettable day for the newlyweds.

Picture-Perfect Ceremony

The ceremony took place at 4 p.m., officiated by the esteemed The Honorable Joseph F. Anderson Jr.. Surrounded by the stunning backdrop of nature, Courtney looked absolutely radiant as she walked down the aisle, escorted by her proud father, Mr. Richard E. B. Floyd. It was a touching moment that brought smiles and a few happy tears from the guests.

The Joyful Bride and Groom

Courtney, daughter of Ms. Mary Lafaye Floyd and Mr. Richard E. B. Floyd, couldn’t have been happier. As the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Eugene Lafaye Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herron O’Berry Floyd Jr., she carried on her family’s legacy of love and togetherness. Employed at Whit-Ash Furniture Store, Courtney has always been known for her vibrant spirit and devotion to her community.

On the other side, Colin, the son of Ms. Carolyn Machovina Comer and Mr. Daniel Kelly Comer, stood proudly at the altar. Coming from a loving family that includes his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Machovina and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Oslon, Colin has shown his dedication not just to his craft but also to his loved ones, owning and operating Comer Landscaping. His passion for creating beautiful spaces echoes through his work and now in his marriage.

Unforgettable Moments with Family and Friends

With the couple’s closest friends by their sides, the bridal party was a lively bunch! The bride’s sister, Catherine Stewart Floyd, served as the maid of honor, lending her support and love to her sister on this special day. The lovely bridesmaids included Megan Crosby, Chelsee Weathersby, Katherine Encinas, and Alexa Napoli, who all shimmered in their beautiful attire.

As for the groom, his brother Alex Comer stood beside him as the best man, showcasing the strong bond of brotherhood. The groomsmen, including Mark Comer, Drew Kline, Evans Velasco, and Brett Player, were equally ready for celebration, embodying the essence of friendship and unity.

A Heartfelt Reception

After the ceremony, guests celebrated the couple’s union with a delightful reception at The Farm at Ridgeway. Attendees enjoyed delicious food, heartfelt speeches, and plenty of dancing under the twinkling lights. What a grand start to their happily ever after!

Looking Forward to the Future
