Throwing Light on Black-owned Food Business

Beating the Drums of Celebration and Solidarity

“Black Eats Week 803 is about two things – great food and inclusivity. It’s a time when we come together to celebrate the incredible contributions Black restaurateurs have made to our community’s culinary scene”, said Khali Gallman, the event founder.

The event will also contain fun activities for patrons, including a BINGO board game with a chance to win cash prizes. Customers are encouraged to post their meals and receipts on Instagram and tag @BlackEatsWeek803 to be entered into a contest.

Black Eats Week 803 is sponsored by notable business organisations including The Stanley Law Group and David Lloyd Realty. A truly celebration of Juneteenth Week and Black entrepreneurship in South Carolina, the event invites everyone to support their local communities while relishing the finest foods.
