Sweet Tea 101 – Sip and Savor!

If you’ve ever wanted to learn the art of making the perfect cup of sweet tea, then Sweet Tea 101 is just the event for you! Scheduled for this Sunday, from 1 to 3 p.m., at the James S. Gadsden Building located at 1725 Gervais St, Columbia, S.C., this delightful workshop is all about celebrating the quintessential Southern beverage.

This event is free for all college students with a valid ID, making it easy for you to join in the fun without breaking the bank! Attendees will enjoy a delicious, traditional home-cooked meal while honing their sweet tea skills. While reservations are appreciated, they are not required, allowing for a casual and relaxed atmosphere. Scheduled for Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the festival will shut down a section of Richland Street between Bull and Marion, transforming it into a hub of Korean culture.

  • Cup bop (Bulgogi or Pork) – 5 tickets
  • Bibimbop (mixed rice bowl) – 5 tickets
  • Tteokbokki (spicy stir-fried rice cakes) with a Korean Corn Dog – 5 tickets
  • Hotteok (sweet pancakes) – 1 ticket
  • Korean cup noodles – 2 tickets
