In an exciting move, the Columbia Regional Business Report has announced its inaugural Forty Under 40 class. This distinguished group includes 40 individuals under the age of 40 who have shown remarkable achievement in their professional fields and civic involvement. A special acknowledgement will take place during a luncheon event at the Columbia Marriott Downtown on July 24, with features also included in a forthcoming edition of the Columbia Regional Business Report, and its online site.
This elite group of professionals, handpicked for their impressive achievements, comes from a wide range of industries and disciplines – from business development and non-profit management to legal services, sports administration, and more. With a keen eye on the variety of pathways to success, these individuals embody the innovative spirit and entrepreneurial drive that characterizes Columbia’s burgeoning business sector.
Among the honourees are Nick Annan, Director at Elliott Davis; Margaret Deans Fawcett Grantz, Co-founder and Director of Development and Marketing at Camp Cole; Kambrell Garvin, Principal Attorney and Owner at the Kambrell Garvin Law Firm; Emily Gallo, the Chief of Staff at South Carolina State Museum; and John Gregory, Principal at NAI Columbia.
Each of these young leaders has excelled professionally while concurrently making considerable contributions to their community. They highlight the significant influence of the younger generation in shaping the socio-economic future by catalysing innovation and facilitating community development.
The unveiling of this list is an affirmation of these exceptional individuals and the central role they play in driving Columbia’s vibrant business scene. It brings together a diverse group of individuals who are transforming their fields and inspiring others with their professional accomplishments and civic engagement.
The Forty Under 40 class is more than a list of names; it is an insight into the potential and promise of Columbia’s future leaders. Each individual not only exemplifies excellence in their professional field but also demonstrates immense commitment to community service, influencing positive change in society.
In naming its inaugural Forty Under 40, the Columbia Regional Business Report recognizes these extraordinary individuals for their contributions and achievements. However, perhaps more importantly, it highlights the enormous potential they bring to their respective fields and to the broader community. It is going to be exciting to watch these individuals continue to shape the landscape of Columbia in years to come.
While this is the inaugural list, it’s clear that Columbia is packed full of bright, young talent, so we can expect future editions to be similarly packed with dynamic professionals making a genuine difference to both business and community. Columbia’s future is looking extremely bright, and much of that can be attributed to the efforts and vision of these Forty Under 40 class members. Let’s celebrate their success!
