Big Plans for December 14th
Mark your calendars for December 14, because it’s going to be a day to remember! Over 2 million volunteers will come together across the nation, placing gorgeous green wreaths on the gravestones of our Veterans. But that’s not all! Right here in Columbia, at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery, folks will gather at noon to lay over 13,000 wreaths in tribute to our local heroes.
How It Works
Each wreath costs a mere $17 and is honored through sponsorship with Wreaths Across America. This wonderful initiative works to ensure that every Veteran gravesite is adorned with a beautiful wreath, symbolizing respect, love, and memory. It’s a small commitment that makes a big statement!
