An Endearing Force in Lexington, South Carolina

Deborah Gayle Roof Kyzer was a proud member of the Lexington High School class of 1968 and later graduated from Midlands Technical College. She built a career in the banking industry where she made enduring friendships, showing her ability to balance professional success with personal relationships.

More than her career, however, she was known for her radiant spirit and infectious laughter. She was a woman of unwavering faith and was actively involved in the St. James Lutheran Church, serving as the church treasurer and a handbell choir member.

A Dance with Life

Deborah had a particular fondness for dance. It is with a sense of joyful relief that we know her spirit is now free of the bonds of Parkinson’s disease, likely dancing jubilantly and joyfully in the heavens. An avid birder, she also loved observing the diverse avian life, her face always lighting up with delight when she sighted a new bird through her binoculars.
