Public Hearings Scheduled for Dominion Energy Case in South Carolina

Lexington: Public Service Commission Announces Public Hearings in Dominion Energy Case

The South Carolina Public Service Commission recently unveiled a schedule of public hearings in the Dominion Energy South Carolina case.

The case revolves around Dominion Energy’s authority to “adjust and increase its retail electric rate schedules, tariffs, and terms and conditions.” The hearings will be conducted at four different locations on four different days across the state.

Public Hearings Schedule:

  • May 30 at 6 p.m. – Aiken County Government Center, Aiken, S.C.
  • June 10 at 6 p.m. – Bluffton Town Council Chambers, Bluffton, S.C.
  • June 27 at 6 p.m. – Lonnie Hamilton Public Services Building, North Charleston, S.C.
  • July 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. – Public Service Commission Hearing Room, Columbia, S.C.

Those interested in testifying must pre-register on the Public Commission’s website at least one business day prior to each session.
