Lexington County Gears Up for a Week Filled with Exciting Events
Lexington County, SC – The County is bracing itself to host a series of thrilling events commencing the week of February 22. Ranging from musical performances, plays, comedy shows, and festive celebrations, there is something in the schedule for everyone to enjoy.
Friday, Feb. 23: A Variety of Attractions
The renowned Riverbanks Zoo & Garden (500 Wildlife Pkwy) continues its Free Fridays series, offering free admission to Lexington and Richland Counties residents on each Friday of January and February. The Zoo opens its gates from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m, for the local people to enjoy a day in close proximity to wildlife.
Meanwhile, Steel Hands Brewing is all set to host a Mardi Gras celebration at 2350 Foreman St, Cayce. A stimulating day of live music, mouth-watering cuisine, and an excellent selection of craft beers will begin at noon.
Theatregoers can look forward to the debut night for the play “Final Appearance” at The Chapin Theatre. The performance starts at 7:30 p.m. and carries a promising storyline about a haunting show revival.
