Exciting Changes Ahead for Robinson Room in Downtown Columbia!

Exciting Changes Ahead for Robinson Room in Downtown Columbia!

Columbia residents, get ready for some delightful news! The beloved Robinson Room, known for its delicious desserts, vibrant cocktails, and mouthwatering tapas, is planning to relocate. The announcement came through a cheerful post on their social media, letting fans of the restaurant know that they’re moving to a new address on Main Street. The team expressed their eagerness to enhance your dining experience, keeping the essence of what you love while adding a touch of something special.

What’s the Scoop on the Move?

So, what’s happening with Robinson Room? According to their social media update, the restaurant will soon close the doors at its current location at 1614 Main St. This cherished spot will serve its final round of delightful meals and drinks on Sunday, October 20. While they didn’t spill the beans on the exact new location just yet, they promised that it will still be on Main Street, making it easy for loyal customers to find them if you’re craving those delectable dishes.

The Robinson Room team stated, “Our team is working diligently behind the scenes to craft something truly special in our new location, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to an environment that reflects our continued passion for great cocktails, ambiance, and community.” Doesn’t that just make you a little giddy? It sounds like they are cooking up something magical!

Robinson Room’s Rich History

For those who may not be aware, Robinson Room is not just an ordinary spot for dinner and drinks. It’s part of the LTC Hospitality Group, which manages a bunch of spots around the Main Street District. If you’ve ever visited The Grand on Main, enjoyed a meal at Smoked, or tried the delightful offerings at Hanabi Hibachi and Sushi, then you’re already aware of the caliber of dining experiences LTC brings to the city!

Interestingly, Robinson Room used to be located on the lower level of The Grand on Main before its move to the current site last spring. It seems like this is a time of change for many in the area, as LTC recently announced the closure of its long-running Good Life Cafe and opened up a brand-new breakfast and lunch spot, the 1624 Bistro, at 1624 Main St.. It’s bustling times in downtown Columbia!

What’s Next?

With all these changes happening, Columbia’s dining scene is something to keep an eye on! While we may be sad to see Robinson Room’s doors close at 1614 Main, the excitement for what’s coming next is palpable. The delicious menu, vibrant atmosphere, and fantastic cocktails that have made Robinson Room a favorite will soon evolve into an even more delightful dining experience.

As we await more news on the new address of Robinson Room, let’s make sure to visit them for one last hurrah at their current location. Whether you’re stopping by for your favorite dessert, grabbing a cocktail with friends, or enjoying a flavorful tapas dish, this is your chance to soak it all in before they embark on this exciting new chapter!

Final Thoughts

Change is always bittersweet, but it’s often accompanied by exciting new opportunities. We can’t wait to see what the Robinson Room team has in store for us in their new space. The countdown is on until October 20 for one last visit to the iconic 1614 Main St. location, and then we’ll be eagerly watching for their grand reveal at their new site!
