A Freeze Warning is in effect for Columbia, S.C., and the surrounding areas until 8 AM on Tuesday morning. Temperatures are expected to fall to around freezing, making it a chilly start to the day.
Despite Tuesday being the first day of spring, the weather will feel far from it, especially in the morning. The Freeze Warning is in effect for the region, with temperatures dropping to around freezing. The warning is particularly for areas including Saluda, Newberry, and Fairfield counties until 8 AM.

Friday marks the return of rain, with showers expected to persist throughout the day and into Saturday morning. By the end of the weekend, the skies are set to clear up.
