The Freeze Warning is in effect for the region, with temperatures dropping to around freezing. The warning is particularly for areas including Saluda, Newberry, and Fairfield counties until 8 AM.

Fortunately, the cold morning temperatures will quickly give way to a warming trend. By the afternoon, temperatures are forecasted to reach the low 60s. Although the region is warming up, temperatures will still be 5 to 10 degrees below average for this time of year.

The middle of the week is expected to bring even higher temperatures. Wednesday and Thursday are slated to see warmer air with highs in the 70s. Friday marks the return of rain, with showers expected to persist throughout the day and into Saturday morning. By the end of the weekend, the skies are set to clear up.
