Three-star LB Jaquel Holman – 06/08

Among South Carolina’s most athletic hopefuls, Jaquel Holman, committed to the Gamecocks. The Blackville-Hilda standout’s commitment comes a few days after landing a camp offer from the staff. Holman – an impressive 6-foot-1.5, 196-pound athlete – boasts a commendable 4.49 40 with a 4.28 shuttle. According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Holman ranks as the No. 545 overall prospect and the No. 60 linebacker nationwide.

Three-star EDGE Kobby Sakyi-Prah – 6/10

Kobby Sakyi-Prah, a three-star engine from Roswell, Georgia, announced his commitment to the Gamecocks last week. Sakyi-Prah, who ranks as the No. 752 overall prospect and No. 65 EDGE countrywide, chose South Carolina over Mississippi State and Indiana.

Three-star DB Christopher Hatfield – 6/11

Christopher Hatfield, a three-star defensive back from Ludowici, Georgia, decided to join the Gamecocks following his official visit. Hatfield’s decision came down to South Carolina, Georgia Tech, and West Virginia. According to On3’s rankings, he ranks as the No. 955 overall prospect and No. 68 safety in the country.

Three-star TE Preston Douglas – 6/12

Preston Douglas, a three-star from Jupiter, Florida’s Benjamin School, pledged allegiance to the Gamecocks towards the end of his official visit. Douglas, originally set to visit NC State the following week, canceled the trip after his commitment to South Carolina. He ranks as the No. 944 overall prospect and No. 58 in the country for tight ends.

Three-star LB AJ Holloway – 6/14

AJ Holloway, a three-star linebacker from Buford, Georgia, announced his commitment to South Carolina last Friday. The No. 820 overall prospect and No. 93 on the LB list trailed Louisville but quickly shifted to the garnet and black during his visit.

Four-star IOL Shed Sarratt – 6/14

Shed Sarratt, a prestigious four-star offensive lineman from Gaffney, South Carolina, committed to the Gamecocks last Friday. Sarratt made his choice amongst offers from Florida, Tennessee, Florida State, Colorado, and NC State. The 6-foot-3.5, 290-pounder ranks as the No. 341 overall prospect, No. 27 IOL, and No. 5 recruit from South Carolina.

K/P Max Kelley – 6/15

The Gamecocks welcomed verbal commitment from the Gallatin, Tennessee kicker, Max Kelley. Kelley, one of the highest-ranking kicker prospects nationally, made his choice between South Carolina and Tennessee. According to Kohl’s Kicking, he ranks as the No. 14 kicker and No. 36 punter countrywide.
