Adding to the sorrow, another GoFundMe has been set up for the Ortega family, specifically for Daniel Ortega and his daughter Emelin Ortega, who tragically lost their lives in a car accident on March 4. The incident occurred on Interstate 80, where their Chevrolet Trailblazer lost control and crashed into a semi-trailer truck. Adverse winter weather conditions were reportedly a factor in the crash, leading to these untimely deaths.
Daniel, who was 62 years old, was remembered as a loving father and grandfather. His daughter Emelin, just 25, was cherished dearly by her family and friends. This crash, which occurred on the corner of Georgetown Road and Capstone Drive, involved a Kia and a Dodge Ram pickup truck. Brian, only 39, suffered multiple blunt force injuries due to the collision and was taken to the hospital, where he later passed away. Fortunately, the driver of the Dodge Ram emerged unscathed.
A fundraising campaign for Brian Huddle has been initiated by a family friend in hopes of alleviating the financial burden of medical expenses and funeral costs. So far, they have gathered over $4,000 to help his family during this painful period.
