Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher identified Marvin Orlando Felipe Perez, a 34-year-old resident of Halethorpe, Maryland, as the individual who tragically lost his life on Wednesday morning in West Columbia. The incident took place in the 4000 block of Edmund Highway, where Felipe Perez was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on the same highway. The collision occurred around 6:40 a.m., resulting in fatal injuries for Felipe Perez, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident remained on site and was reported to be uninjured.
