The Lexington County Museum is set to host its free Murders and Mysteries walking tour of downtown Lexington this Friday, March 1, starting at 8 pm. This unique event offers participants a captivating opportunity to immerse themselves in the history of the town, exploring intriguing stories of murders, trials, and other crimes that unfolded on Lexington’s Main Street during the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Delve Into the Dark Past of Downtown Lexington

The walking tour will kick off at the town’s Icehouse Amphitheater and will lead attendees through Church Street and South Lake Drive, two iconic areas with a rich historical tapestry. Engaging and knowledgeable guides will regale participants with tales of the past, shedding light on the darker side of Lexington’s history.

Due to the mature subject matter, participants must be 18 years or older. Attendees under 18 are required to have parental permission to join the tour.
