In a ghastly discovery, a Lexington man, identified as Caldwell Motley Jr., has been found dead with multiple stab wounds in his burnt house. Simultaneously, another victim was discovered in the front yard by firefighters, appearing to be going in and out of consciousness, with evident facial swelling.

The coroner, Margaret Fisher, confirmed Motley had died from multiple stab wounds. The additional surviving victim has not been identified.
