The Lexington Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating two alleged shoplifters who attempted to rename the popular electronics store, Best Buy, to Best Take. The incident occurred on April 5, 2024, when the suspects stole approximately $2,800 worth of merchandise from the store.
Surveillance footage shows a man and a woman working together as a team to select items from the store and leave without paying, bypassing the checkout entirely. The duo’s bold act has sparked concern among law enforcement officers.
