Lexington, Kentucky, get ready to hear the whistle blow. This small but determined soccer community stands just weeks away from its highly anticipated USL Super League home debut.
The Lexington Sporting Club will square off against Tampa Bay Sun FC at the newly-built Lexington SC Stadium, marking an unparalleled milestone in the expansion of women’s professional soccer in Kentucky. Commencing at 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, the match day promises to be one that will be etched in the city’s sporting history.
The USL Super League is of crucial significance on the American soccer landscape, as it forms the pinnacle of the U.S. Soccer’s Division One framework. The competition offers players a platform to augment their skills, swimming in the pool of elite competitors.

Prior to its home debut, the Super League team of Lexington SC will be showcasing their skills at Carolina Ascent FC on Sunday, August 25.
The men’s team of Lexington SC is also gearing up to participate in the USL League One, which falls under the third division men’s professional soccer bracket in the U.S. The club has been simultaneously working on the construction of its formal performance center and training fields, while completing the work on its new stadium.
