Steel Hands Brewing Hosts Mardi Gras Event in Lexington County

In Lexington County, the coming weekend is going to be exciting and jam-packed with events. From soulful music and live comedy to tasteful food and drink, residents will have no shortage of activities to participate in.

Friday- Feb. 23

Free Fridays at Riverbanks Zoo & Garden

7:30 p.m., The Riverbanks Zoo & Garden (500 Wildlife Pkwy) is hosting the Free Fridays series. Any resident of Richland and Lexington Counties gets to experience the zoo for free from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Friday. With valid identification like a driver’s license or a property tax statement, residents can enjoy a day at the zoo.

Mardi Gras at Steel Hands Brewing

Steel Hands Brewing (2350 Foreman St. in Cayce) is pulling out all the stops for their Mardi Gras event. The celebration will include live music from the Soda City Brass Band and Jordan Lawson Duo, along with a Lowcountry boil featuring jumbo shrimp, crawfish, and jambalaya. The event will run from noon to 11 p.m. and entry is free.
