Lexington Family Mourns Loss of 10-Year-Old Boy by Creating Foundation in His Honor

Lexington, South Carolina, is mourning the tragic loss of 10-year-old Mason Smith, who passed away in an ATV accident on April 13. The young boy’s untimely death has left his family and friends devastated, but they are determined to honor his memory in a meaningful way.

Mason Smith was described by those who knew him as a special young man with a love for the outdoors and sports. His passion for life and his caring nature left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His family and friends are now coming together to ensure that Mason’s legacy lives on.

In honor of Mason’s memory, his family has decided to establish the Mason Foundation. This foundation aims to support children who share Mason’s passion for sports but may not have the financial means to pursue their dreams. The foundation will focus on helping kids who are interested in travel baseball and clay shooting, two sports that Mason loved.

The idea to create the Mason Foundation emerged less than 24 hours after Mason’s passing. Through the foundation, Mason’s love for sports and compassion for others will continue to shine.

A celebration of Mason’s life will take place on Sunday, April 21, at Mt. Horeb Church in Lexington. Family and friends will come together to honor his memory and share stories of his impact on their lives. The event will serve as a tribute to a young boy who touched the hearts of many.
