Exciting Modern Steakhouse Set to Open in Lexington's Historic Main Street in January 2025

Exciting New Steakhouse Coming to Lexington!

Greetings, Lexington! We have some thrilling news brewing right here in our own backyard. A modern steakhouse concept is making its way to our historic Main Street, and it promises to be an exciting addition to our local dining scene! This new eatery, yet to be named, is taking over the space that was once home to Alodia’s Italian Restaurant and is expected to open its doors in January 2025.

Meet the Team Behind the Transformation

The project is spearheaded by a trio of seasoned restauranteurs from the Midlands area: Steve Cook, Joe Walker, and Ryan Jones. Each brings a wealth of experience and creativity to the table! Cook, who owns Saluda’s, Il Bucato Pizza, and Arroyo Tacos & Tequila, is all about crafting unique dining experiences. Meanwhile, Walker, a U.S. Army combat veteran, manages multiple locations, including Marco’s Pizza, Molto Vino, and Scooter’s Coffee.

And let’s not forget about Ryan Jones, the former general manager of Hall’s Chophouse in Columbia; he adds a touch of operational expertise that’s just perfect for this venture.

The Vision: Upscale Yet Approachable

When asked about their vision, Steve Cook said, “Our vision is to create a modern take on the classic steakhouse — upscale yet approachable. We want to create a space where customers feel good as soon as they walk through the door.”

It sounds like each element of this restaurant will be thoughtfully curated—from the menu to the interior design. The aim is to ensure that everyone who visits has an unforgettable experience!

What Can Diners Expect?

So, what can we look forward to? Diners will enjoy hand-cut steaks, homemade pasta, fresh seafood, and a variety of seasonal dishes crafted from high-quality ingredients. Picture this: a spacious main dining area, a cozy private dining space, and outdoor seating available year-round. It’s bound to be a place where friends and families can come together to enjoy good food and great times.

Renovations and Historical Charm

The property is currently undergoing renovations that are aimed at preserving its historic charm while also modernizing the space for contemporary dining. The talented team at Boyer Construction is overseeing the renovations, while Ashley Scott St. John of 1×1 Design is working on the interior design.

Walker expressed his excitement saying, “We’ve crafted a restaurant concept that’s truly one-of-a-kind, and we’re beyond excited to bring it to Lexington. By restoring this beautiful building and showcasing its unique design, we’re creating a dining experience that’s both welcome and elevated.”

Looking Ahead

As the renovations progress, we are eager to learn all the delicious details about their official name and menu offerings. Keep your eyes peeled for future updates, as we’ll be first in line to share the latest, and trust us, it’s going to be worth the wait!

Lexington, this new steakhouse is set to become a vital part of our thriving downtown. We can’t wait to see families and friends gather here, celebrating life’s milestones and creating memories that will last a lifetime. It’s a bright future ahead for Lexington’s dining scene!
