In a move that promises to augment its on-field performance for the 2024/2025 season, the Orlando Pride has loaned forward Amanda Allen to the USL Super League side, Lexington Sporting Club. In the current season, Allen has featured in eight matches for the Orlando Pride, which includes a game-changing assist during the Pride’s season opener against Louisville. The 86th-minute move showcased her prowess and reaction speed, helping to level a game where the Pride had been trailing with a 2-0 deficit and reduced to 10 players. This crucial intervention underscores her impressive contribution to the team so far.

Allen made soccer history as the youngest player ever to sign a contract and debut for the Orlando Pride. She gained her first taste of NWSL action on May 6, 2023, facing off against Racing Louisville at the tender age of 18 years, two months, and 15 days, a testament to her incredible talent and ambition.

With Allen’s transfer to Lexington Sporting Club the young forward is expected to enjoy increased playtime, a factor that can greatly expedite her growth and mastery of the sport.
