Yes, you guessed it right—“Paw Patrol Live: ‘Heroes Unite!’” is coming to town, and it promises to bring joy and laughter to children and families alike. The stage play, which is based on the hit animated series that has captured the hearts of so many, is set to perform at the Colonial Life Arena on October 12 and 13, and it’s already generating a lot of buzz!

A Personal Touch for K’nique Eichelberger

One of the standout cast members is none other than K’nique Eichelberger, a talented performer who proudly hails from Columbia. K’nique shared his excitement about performing in his hometown for the very first time, stating, “I was born and raised in Columbia, and this will be my first time performing here professionally.” For him, it’s a full-circle moment, as his journey into the world of arts, he says, began right here in Columbia.

The Influence of a Great Teacher

That journey has been supported and nurtured by individuals like his former music teacher, Lashay Isaac. Now acting as the fine arts coordinator for Richland School District Two, Isaac recalls the spark of talent Eichelberger showed as a young student. “He had such a love for singing and acting and the arts in general,” she said while beaming with pride. She added, “He has such a bright personality. I knew he would be successful in whatever he chose to do in life.” And indeed, K’nique credits her encouragement as a major factor in his success, specifically recalling how she cast him in his very first school play.

Inspiring the Next Generation

In an empowering twist of fate, K’nique returned to his roots by visiting *Pontiac Elementary School* to surprise current students with a sneak peek into the exciting world of live theater. The joy and enthusiasm on the students’ faces were undeniable as K’nique spoke about his career and the importance of following your dreams. “Her believing in me made me believe in myself,” he shared, emphasizing the critical role that teachers play in shaping the future of their students.

The ripple effect of K’nique’s journey can also be felt at Pontiac Elementary, where Principal Dr. Andrea Peralta noted how relatable his story was for students dreaming of a future in the arts. “At Richland Two, we are purpose-driven to make kids future-ready, and he really touched on some of those things,” she said.

A Family Affair

But what would a journey like K’nique’s be without the love and support of family? His biggest cheerleader, of course, is his mother, Lashay Isaac. She expressed her pride, stating, “It’s just amazing to see what you pour into your children when they’re young come to fruition.” It’s clear that K’nique’s passion for the arts is not only a personal triumph but also a family legacy.
