Details of the Accident

The fatal collision occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday on Old Cherokee Road near the intersection with Maxie Road in the Lexington area close to Lake Murray, stated Lance Cpl. Christopher was walking east along the 800 block of Old Cherokee Road when a 2020 Kia Forte traveling in the same direction ran off the right side of the road, striking the pedestrian.
