Celebrate the Holidays at Lexington’s Snowball Festival!

Hey there, Lexington! It’s that magical time of year again when the air gets crisp and the festive spirit kicks off. Starting this weekend, the 2024 Snowball Festival is bringing joy, laughter, and holiday cheer to our lovely town! Held from Thursday, December 5 to Sunday, December 8, this event is sure to warm your hearts and bring smiles to your faces, so mark your calendars!

Where and When to Gather

The festival will take place at the iconic Icehouse Amphitheater, located at 107 West Main Street. It’s the perfect backdrop for a holiday gathering, and the atmosphere will be buzzing with excitement leading up to the grand parade down Main Street!

Fun-Filled Schedule of Events

Here’s what’s in store for each day of the festival:

  • Thursday, December 5
    From 4 p.m. – 8 p.m., come down to the Christmas Craft Fair, where you can find unique gifts and decorations—perfect for all your holiday needs!
  • Friday, December 6
    Again, from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m., hit up the Christmas Craft Fair, but wait—there’s more! Bring the kids for Pictures with Santa! At 6:30 p.m., join everyone for the heartwarming Tree Lighting Ceremony. Then, at 7:30 p.m., snuggle up as we screen the charming classic, The Muppet Christmas Carol (G).
  • Saturday, December 7
    The fun continues from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. with a lively Carnival and even more opportunities for Pictures with Santa! Then, join us at 5:30 p.m. for the captivating tale of The Polar Express (G) on the big screen!
  • Sunday, December 8
    Don’t miss the grand finale with the Christmas Parade down Main Street at 3 p.m. This is a wonderful way to round up the weekend, rain or shine!

It’s All Freely Festive!

And guess what? Admission is FREE to all events. That’s right, it won’t cost you a dime to come enjoy the festivities and create special memories with family and friends. Let’s get into the holiday spirit without breaking the bank!
