Excitement Builds as the Town Prepares for Many Inclusive and Exciting Events

Residents of Cayce, South Carolina, and the surrounding areas are eagerly awaiting the return of the annual Soiree on State festival on Saturday, March 23rd. This well-loved event will take place on the city’s iconic State Street, promising an unforgettable day of entertainment, food, and community engagement between 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

Combining Arts and Music

This year, the City of Cayce has collaborated with the Avenues Neighborhood Association for a delightful amalgamation of the Cayce Festival of the Arts and Soiree on State. The event includes a range of activities, from artistic displays by local creators, an abundance of food vendors offering delicious foods, to an exhilarating line-up of local and national musicians.

For the little ones, the festival will feature a free kid’s area, decked out with fun inflatable courses, an enchanting face painting station, and a whimsical balloon artist – ensuring a memorable day of joy and amusement.

Diverse Music Line-up

The 2024 Soiree on State is set to entertain audiences with a music line-up that caters to all tastes. Jazz enthusiasts can look forward to the smooth tunes of The Sam Edwards Jazz Trio performing in the Cayce Art Lot throughout the festival duration. At 3:00 pm, crowd favorites, Prettier Than Matt will take the stage, followed by talented Cayce native, Mitchell Lee at 4:30 pm. The grand finale for the evening will be an exceptional performance by the headlining band – Cash Money Experience at 6:00 pm.

Parking and Accessibility

Guests attending the Soiree on State can access free parking at the nearby Brookland-Cayce High School. For those who prefer not to walk, complimentary golf cart rides will be available to transport visitors to and from the event. The festival organizers are eager to share that this is a pet-friendly event, inviting visitors to bring along their furry friends to enjoy the day’s festivities.

Businesses and vendors are not left out from the Soiree on State. The event offers multiple sponsorship and vending opportunities, welcoming a variety of food, craft, and art vendors. An exciting new tier of sponsorship is being introduced this year, titled the Friends of the Soiree Sponsorship.
