Lexington, SC residents and sushi lovers have a reason to rejoice as TakoSushi, the popular fusion restaurant that serves a delicious mix of Japanese and Mexican cuisine, is about to make its grand debut in the town. The all-new TakoSushi outlet is slated to open its doors on September 5 at 11 a.m. at 102 C-W. Main St., Lexington, adding to the vibrant food landscape of the region. With an assortment of Asian and Latin flavors, TakoSushi will surely tempt food lovers across the town.

“Lexington isn’t just a new location for us — it’s home”, said Chris Sullivan, the dynamic founder of the Food People Restaurant Group and co-owner of TakoSushi. The decision to expand in Lexington is also encouraged by the fact that several team members of TakoSushi hail from there, making the community an integral part of the group’s expansion strategy.

TakoSushi: A Success Saga

Established in 2008, TakoSushi has made a significant mark in the food scene with its distinctive fusion of the Eastern and Western culinary world. With its eight outlets across South Carolina and Georgia, TakoSushi has successfully maintained its commitment to quality and uniqueness. Their latest addition in Lexington covers a sprawling 2,100 square feet and includes over 100 seats in indoor and outdoor dining areas. Nearby attractions include the Icehouse Ampitheater and Virginia Hylton Park, offering guests a memorable dining experience.

Incentives and More

To celebrate the grand opening, TakoSushi is running a promotional offer where the first 25 guests each day from September 5 to 9 will qualify for free queso for a year. More so, the team believes that the quality and assortment of the food will be incentive enough for guests to patronize the restaurant. The proposed menu includes favorites like shrimp shumai, southwest tuna tartare, and over 25 signature sushi rolls.
