If you’re looking for a way to support a fantastic cause while enjoying some fresh air and community vibes, mark your calendars for this special event.

Event Details

Registration kicks off at 1:00 PM, followed by the walk itself at 2:00 PM. It’s an opportunity for families, friends, neighbors, and co-workers from all walks of life to unite under one common goal: raising awareness and funds for Huntington’s disease (HD). This is not just another walk in the park; it’s a heartfelt gathering aimed at making a positive impact in the lives of those affected by HD.

Why Participate?

The Team Hope Walk is HDSA’s largest grassroots fundraising event, taking place in over 100 cities across the United States. Since its inception back in 2007, the initiative has successfully raised more than $28 million to support vital research and services for those battling Huntington’s disease and their families. By participating, you’re not just walking; you’re walking with purpose alongside thousands who share a similar mission.

Your Support Matters

Each step you take helps raise vital funds that support the HDSA’s mission. They work tirelessly to improve the lives of people impacted by Huntington’s disease through education, advocacy, and research. It’s a chance to show your support and solidarity, standing together for those who often walk alone in their fight against this devastating condition.

How to Get Involved

Getting involved is easy! Interested participants can register online or make donations through the HDSA website. If you have any questions or need further information, you can reach out to Kim Austin-Osborne at curehdinsc@gmail.com. Whether you decide to walk, volunteer, or donate, every bit of support makes a huge difference!

A Community Coming Together

This year’s walk promises to be more than just a physical event; it’s a celebration of community, resilience, and hope. Participants from neighborhoods across the Midlands, from Cayce to Lake Murray and beyond, are all coming together for a day filled with connection, inspiration, and dedication to a vital cause.
