Nashville Nights: Bre Kennedy at Steel Hands Brewing continues their Nashville Nights concert series with a performance from rising country artist Bre Kennedy. The Interstellar Echoes concert at The Icehouse Amphitheater will serenade Pink Floyd fans with a eccentric laser light show along with the music. Meanwhile, the five-piece Spartanburg band Backline will play classic hits and their originals at Bill’s Music Shop & Pickin’ Parlor. At the Chayz Lounge, electric violinist JaVonne Jones will present “An Evening of Soulful Rhythms”, a music feast featuring hits from and classics by Patti LaBelle, Tony! Toni! Toné!, Stevie Wonder, Boyz II Men, and more.

The popular Reggaetronic: Lake Murray Music Festival returns to Lexington County this afternoon. On this day, attendees can enjoy music and sun at Lake Murray, benefiting Shriners Children’s Hospital. The history lovers can join the Colonial Forts Tour at 12,000 Year History Park. Jazz enthusiasts are in for a treat as renowned jazz saxophonist Chris Potter will perform at The Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College and share his three decades of music experience.

The Lexington County Main Library, in conjunction with the Lexington County Museum, will host the Historically Speaking lecture series, interpreting diverse aspects of Lexington County’s history. On the lighter side, Hazelwood Brewing Company opts for fun with their weekly Music Bingo night.

A Juneteenth Celebration will be held at the Irmo Community Park, commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. This cultural celebration will honour African American heritage and the resilience shown by their ancestors.
