Mary Poppins (play)
Don’t miss the opening night of “Mary Poppins” at the Village Square Theatre (105 Caughman Rd.). The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. and tickets cost between $18 and $22. Hen’s Night Out
The FARM 1780 (1127 Corley Mill Rd.) hosts another edition of Hen’s Night Out. Bring your best girlfriends and enjoy a grazing board setup with farm fresh fruits, veggies, artisan cheeses and plenty of wine. This seven-piece variety band has a diverse music selection, ensuring that guests of all ages and backgrounds are on their feet.
