Senator Tim Scott Takes Plunge into Matrimony with Mindy Noce Amidst Presidential Campaign Speculations

Wedding rings intertwined with pickleballs.

Senator Tim Scott and Mindy Noce Exchange Vows in Blissful Ceremony

Our beloved U.S. Senator from South Carolina, Tim Scott, and Mindy Noce took their love to another level as they became bound in holy matrimony this past weekend. Noce and Scott celebrated their union surrounded by close friends and family in an intimate ceremony. Following the event, the newlywed groom shared his moment of joy on Instagram, declaring Noce as the source of his happiness.

Tim Scott: From Bachelorhood to Matrimony

Till now, Scott has been known for his illustrious political career and commitment to bachelorhood. In 1990, he proudly declared himself a 30-year-old virgin, bringing public attention to his personal life. His dedication to remaining single followed him up through South Carolina’s political ladder, from U.S. congressman to becoming its first Black senator elected from the south since the Reconstruction.

The run-up to the 2024 Presidential Election put Senator Scott’s personal life under a magnifying glass, with some wondering whether voters would have a problem putting a never-married 57-year-old man in the White House. Now, as he embarks on a new journey with his wife Noce, the prolonged questions about Scott’s “purity” in his youth can finally take a backseat.

The Politician and the Christian Pickleball Enthusiast

Scott’s decision to keep his romantic life private led to skepticism among the masses when he first hinted at having a girlfriend. In what was seen as a move to quell the chatter on his bachelor status, Scott divulged little about his love, only sharing that she was a Christian Pickleball enthusiast. Unfortunately, his admission did little to quell suspicions, with even some of his closest friends being kept in the dark about the existence of this unnamed lady.

However, the curtains finally lifted on Scott’s love life when he introduced his girlfriend, Noce, at the third GOP primary debate. Noce, an interior designer and a divorced mother of three, quickly laid to rest any rumors about her being a political prop in Scott’s play for the presidency.

Squashing Vicious Rumors

The engagement between Scott and Noce, announced just one day after Scott publicly endorsed Trump, sparked cynical rumors about the congruence of the personal and political announcements. Critics suggested that Scott’s announcement was a strategic move to put potential GOP donors at ease about his bachelorhood and presidential capabilities. The projected wedding date in August also raised eyebrows, as skeptics conjectured whether the date was chosen to avoid any conflict with the campaign schedule if Trump chose Scott to be his running mate.

However, even after the realization that the nuptials would have no implications on the 2024 Presidential Race, the couple decided to proceed with their wedding plans. This defiance put a decisive stop to all rumors about the engagement being a political stunt, allowing Scott and Noce to focus on the beginning of their life together.

A Look into the Future

There is no doubt that Senator Scott’s desire to be Trump’s running mate remains unfulfilled, yet it might not be all gloomy for him. Perhaps being able to take time off political commitments and scandals to enjoy his honeymoon with his wife is the real win in all of this. Irrespective of his political aspirations and ambitions, this summer has undoubtedly been the ‘Summer of Scott’.
