Weaving comedy into the fabric of romance brought many couples to Brookland Banquet & Conference Center on February 14. The event, christened My Funny Valentine Dinner & Show, served a hearty blend of good food and hearty laughter from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Hunger for romance met its match at Chick-fil-A West Columbia, which treated visitors to an exclusive Valentine’s Day dinner. In the spirit of inclusivity, the restaurant offered three time slots, complete with a complimentary ice cream bar for those looking to spice up their Valentine’s Day with something sweet.

Jazz is for Lovers: A Musical Rendezvous

The soulful rhythm of Jazz radiated through Midlands on the romantic evening of February 14. The SC Jazz Masterworks Ensemble staged an enchanting performance featuring eighteen jazz musicians, bandleaders, and soloists from the Carolinas. The intimate gathering offered complimentary beer, wine, and two musical sets for Jazz lovers, starting at 6:20 p.m.

Anticipation for Valentine’s Day reached its peak with the Craft Axe Throwing Giveaway, where enthusiasts could sign up online through Eventbrite till February 13, for a chance to take home a basket filled with Valentine’s surprises.

Amore Under the Stars: A Night to Remember

The State Museum brought a celestial twist to the day of love with its event, “Amore Under the Stars”. The evening, split between a champagne bar, a mouth-watering food spread, a laser light show, and live music from Cola Jazz, painted an unforgettable picture of love and celebration between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on February 14.
