Columbia Gears Up for Exciting Grand Opening of Whataburger on November 11th!

Columbia Welcomes Whataburger with Excitement!

Columbia is buzzing with excitement this week as the beloved national chain Whataburger gets ready to open its doors to the public for the very first time in the city! Early birds can mark their calendars for Monday, November 11th because this tasty event starts at 9:30 a.m. sharp. The new location at 202 Bridgeberry Lane, just off the Killian Road exit of I-77, promises to be a delicious addition to the community.

Meet the Operating Partner

Leading the charge at this new Columbia Whataburger is Ashley Adams, the operating partner who has a solid background in the food and retail industry. Previously managing Whataburger locations in Texas, as well as holding positions at Walmart and Xerox, Adams brings a wealth of experience to the table. With a team of 75 employees ready to serve, customers can expect a friendly and inviting atmosphere when they arrive.

Grand Opening Celebration

The grand opening is set to be quite the event, with some fantastic perks for those eager to get their hands on a juicy Whataburger. The first two lucky guests in the drive-thru lane will score free Whataburger for a whole year! Yes, you heard that right— _a whole year of deliciousness!_ And if you’re the first to step through the dining room doors, you’ll join the ranks of these fortunate few. But wait, there’s more! The next 100 customers at this much-anticipated opening will snag some exclusive Whataburger swag. Sounds like a great way to kick off this new venture!

Special Treat for Military Personnel

Whataburger also wants to honor our heroes. Veterans and active-duty military members who show up in uniform or present an ID can enjoy a complimentary 16-ounce hot or iced coffee inside the restaurant. It’s a small gesture to show appreciation for their service, and a great way to welcome this new establishment into the community.

The Local Expansion

Columbia isn’t the only area receiving its Whataburger fix! This tasty chain opened its doors in Irmo just last September and has already spread its flavor across the region with new locations in Greenville, Anderson, Boiling Springs, and Mauldin since July. What’s more? There’s more to come! A new restaurant will pop up at 888 South Lake Drive in Lexington later this year.

Future Plans

The people of Columbia can look forward to even more Whataburger goodness in the years to come. The company has officially announced plans for new locations in 2025 at 5648 Calhoun Memorial Parkway in Easley (spring) and 1537 E. Main St. in Duncan (summer). It seems Columbia is becoming the place to be for Whataburger fans!

Don’t Miss Out!

With the countdown already ticking, locals should prepare for a fun-filled day at Whataburger’s grand opening. Don’t forget to arrive early to take advantage of those sweet freebie offers! With friendly staff, a delicious menu, and big plans for the future, it’s easy to see why Whataburger is a Texas treasure ready to become a Columbia favorite.

Kick off your week with a bang and come join the festivities! Bring your friends, grab a tasty meal, and make some new memories at the newest hot spot in town. Happy munching, Columbia!
